Reporter Danielle Johnson joined the NBC Augusta News team in January 2006 after spending two years working on various news programs at WCAU-TV, the NBC affiliate in Philadelphia.

She's a graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C. where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism. While in Washington, Danielle spent three years at NBC News in their Television Stations Division, assisting in covering national and international news stories for their owned and operated stations.

Danielle was born and raised in Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love.
Though she misses the cold weather, Danielle is glad to be in Augusta, where everything is warm! When she's not working, Danielle enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
