Since he returned to Augusta in the fall of 2006, some of Trent's highlights include covering the 2007 Masters and the Presidential debate at South Carolina State.

Trent is a member of the Augusta Rotary Club. He was part of the
NBC Augusta team that helped raise nearly $1,000,000 for The Children's Miracle Network during the annual telethon at the Medical College of Georgia.

Recently, his volunteer efforts have also centered around the American Lung Association and furthering the cause of adoption. With an adopted daughter and as an adopted child himself, Trent has a strong passion in this area.
