An award-winning reporter, weekend anchor Tina Terry graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in journalism. Before coming to Augusta in 2003, Tina was a reporter and fill-in anchor in Lawrence, Kansas.

She was honored by the Kansas Association of Broadcasters for "Best Feature Story" in 2001, and she won awards for her reporting from the Associated Press in 2001, 2002 and 2005. Her story on a literacy program in Augusta won an award for "Best Specialized Reporting" in 2005.

Tina says she enjoys providing a platform for those who would not otherwise have a voice in the Augusta community. When she's not covering stories, Tina enjoys bible study and exercise.
