World’s Largest Baby Shower promises fun, games, fashion and 411

Calling all moms, moms-to-be, dads and dads-to-be! Is your baby the fastest crawler in town? How fast dads and dads-to-be can you get a diaper on a baby? Find out at a community-wide baby shower. Doctors Hospital is hosting the shower from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30, at Babies-R-Us, 4225 Washington Road.

The shower will include: A Baby Derby, a Daddy Diaper Contest, a Mom and Baby Fashion Show, and informative sessions about breastfeeding, immunization and infant care. There will be drawings for a glider, crib and a Medela® breast pump And given that it is a shower of course, there will be cake, punch and light refreshments.
