In Wednesday's Adopt-A-Pet segment, the Aiken SPCA showed off two dogs and some kittens that are all available for adoption.

Christy Baughman of the Aiken SPCA says they have three kittens up for adoption.

They were found as strays in Aiken and picked up by the SPCA.

There is also a yellow lab mix named Daisy. She is housed trained and great with kids.

A terrier is also up for adoption. Baughman says although he is partially blind he is still in good spirits.

People should adopt pet instead of buying them for breeders. There are hundreds of pet the need homes. Some shelters have purebred dogs and some mixed dogs are cute then pure breads. People just need to look for when is already here for them to love. I have adopted two, one from the Aiken SPCA and from another shelter. Those dogs are family and we adopt again from there.
