Aiken, S.C. - A vandal caused thousands of dollars in damage to an Aiken County Church.
Aiken County investigators say Tony Isbell of Aiken broke into the Welcome Travelers Baptist Church on Wire Road.
They say he tore out pews and ransacked the church causing between $30,000 and $40,000 in damage.
They say it happened between Friday night and Saturday morning.
A bloodhound tracking team was able to track Isbell to a nearby house where investigators say he was hiding under a bed.
Investigators say they don't know what was the motivation for the crime.
