GQ: What are the laws regarding cell phone use while driving?

Most drivers do it at some point: talk on the cell phones while driving, but is it legal?

Janice from Richmond County wants to know what the laws are regarding driving while using a cell phone.

There are no statewide restrictions in Georgia or South Carolina that ban or restrict drivers from using cell phones while driving.

But while it is legal, law enforcement says its not always safe. They urge drivers to pay attention to the road.
