With all this talk of golf, some of our viewers wanted to know how the sport got its name.
Belinda from Hephzibah tells NBC Augusta she's heard the word "golf" is an acronym for "Gentlemen Only, Ladies Forbidden".
According to the British Museum of Golf, the word "golf" isn't an acronym for anything.
In the 15th century, Scots first used the word "goulf" spelled with a "u". It means "to strike".
Workers with the museum say the Scottish term came from the Dutch word "kolf"... which means "club".
Years later, the two words combined and "golf" began to be used to describe the game.
