President-elect Barack Obama's inauguration is two months away.
Natasha from Columbia County wants to know if the public can attend the event and if the tickets cost money.
NBC Augusta found out the public can attend the January 20 event, but you will need tickets.
The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies prints about 240,000 tickets for the event. Those tickets are then given to Senate and House members, who hand them out, free of charge.
If you are interested in going, you need to contact your Congressman or Senator for tickets.
Tickets will not be given out until the week before the inauguration and will require in-person pick up.
The Inaugural Committee is warning people to be careful about any Web sites or people selling tickets. No tickets have been given to any of those agencies.
