Two restaurants received a percent score of 100 in this week's restaurant report card.

Six others came close with a 99.

Larry's Subs on 15th St. in Augusta and the best kept secret in the Aiken valley, Espress-Oh! on Jefferson Davis Highway in Clearwater, S.C. both scored 100 percent.

These restaurants scored a 99:

Richmond County:

Cuz's Place on Tobacco Road in Augusta

Dominique's on Baker Avenue in Augusta

Quizno's Subs on Washington Road in Augusta

Elaine's Cafe and Deli on Greene Street in Augusta

Columbia County:

Sandbar Grill on Washington Road in Appling

Zaxby's on Ronald Reagan Drive in Evans

Lowest scores of the week:

Church's Chicken on York Street in Aiken scored a 74.

Here's what inspectors found: No sanitizer kits, heat lamps over food were not clean and potentially hazardous food at improper temperature.

Souper Salad on Robert C. Daniel Parkway in Augusta received a 76.

Inspectors found food at improper temperatures and not properly dated.  They also instructed the restaurant to sanitize or replace food carts.

Finally coming in with a 79 is Oriental Chinese on Tobacco Road in Augusta.

Points were deducted for packaged food stored in the ice machine, a fly problem and not having clean utensils.

Keep in mind all scores are based on the day inspectors visit the restaurant.

Richmond County posts all of its restaurant scores online.

In response to Dennnis' comment, I spoke with Richmond County and they say that employees must wear gloves when they handle food with their hands. I'm sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner. :)
