Four restaurants received perfect scores in this week’s Restaurant Report Card.

In Columbia County, Hula Dogs on Wrightsboro Road in Grovetown scored a 100.

In Aiken County, Monterrey Mexican Restaurant on Martintown Road in North Augusta Subway on Richland Avenue and Takoshushi II in the Alley all received perfect scores.

Now we go from the highest to the lowest scores of the week.

In Columbia County, Gold Town Chinese on Wrightsboro Road in Grovetown scored a 77.

Inspectors took off points for employees not wearing gloves, raw meats not properly stored and food on the freezer floor.

Dairy Queen on Edgefield Road in Aiken County also received a 77.

Inspectors said the hand sink should have been cleaner, equipment needed to be washed and floors also needed scrubbing.

Finally in Columbia County Waffle House on Lewiston Road scored an 82.

Inspectors found food that wasn't kept at proper temperatures; food was also kept next to raw meats in the cooler and damaged utensils needed to be thrown away.

Keep in mind the restaurant scores are based on the day the inspector went to that restaurant.

This week's scores are for January 12 -16, 2009.
