This week’s Restaurant Report Card has two follow-up inspections and three perfect scores.
Last week we told you Ee Jay's in Aiken County scored an 85.
On re-inspection they received a 99.
Last month Mellow Mushroom in Columbia County scored a 77. This week they scored a 99.
There are three perfect scores.
In Richmond County, Firehouse Subs on Wrightsboro Road and Quizno’s Subs on Washington Road and Pizza Hut on East Martintown Road in Aiken County all scored 100s.
Our lowest scores of the week are out of Columbia County.
McDonald's in the Wal-Mart at 4471Washington Road in Evans scored a 59.
Inspectors found mold inside the ice machine and the fountain drink machine was dirty and moldy. These are both repeat violations.
Points were also taken off for potentially hazardous food being kept past the expiration date.
It's a 60 for Pizza Central on Evans to Locks Road.
The report shows employees not wearing gloves, food not properly separated and food not kept at proper temperatures.
Finally, Grand China on Washington Road scored a 61.
Inspectors found food not properly covered in the freezer, food not kept at proper temperatures and equipment needed to be cleaned.
Keep in mind that each score is based on the day the inspector went to that particular restaurant.
These inspections were made between February 1 and 7.
