We have three follow-up inspections this week.

In last week's Restaurant Report Card we told you Waffle House on 960 Edgefield Road in Aiken scored a 91.

On re-inspection they received a 100.

Garden Gate Cafe on Hayne Avenue scored a 78 last week.

On re-inspection they also got a perfect score.

Those re-inspection scores landed both restaurants on this week's highest scores list along with Kentucky Fried Chicken at 4426 Jefferson Davis Highway in Aiken.

They also scored 100.

Our final follow up is North Leg Family Restaurant on North Leg Road in Augusta.

Two week's ago they scored a 75.

On re-inspection they scored a 93.

Now the lowest scores of the week:

Health inspectors in Columbia County gave Ryan's on Bobby Jones Expressway in Martinez a 76.

They found food uncovered, dishes weren't clean and mayonnaise and mustard lids in walk-in cooler were dirty.

Coming in with an 81 is Bamboo Garden on 15th Street in Augusta.

Date markers were required for food, employees weren't wearing gloves and food was kept at improper temperatures.

Finally it's an 83 for Hotel Aiken on Richland Avenue.

Points were taken off for single service items not stored properly, the ice machine needed cleaning and food was not properly labeled.

about themselves and your business. Stop!! Hiring just anyone. STOP THE SAGGING PANTS, THE LATENESS, THE NOT CARING. HIRE PEOPLE WHO CARE. Remember WOULD YOU EAT THERE IF SOMEONE WITH SAGGING PANTS, RUDE TO YOU, HAIR A MESS AND UNCLEAN AND DON"T CARE ABOUT YOUR PLACE OF BUSINESS. NOT ME. To many people are needing jobs now. Hire clean and frindly people. There are people who like to please people and there are people who don't. You get what you hire. Start now. The aged are more caring.

Glad to see they finally got Ryan's. We have gone there a few times and been disappointed each time. Just think of the business they do on a Sunday after church!
