NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - This week’s Restaurant Report Card has four follow-up inspections, four perfect scores and showcases Manuel’s Bread Café in North Augusta.
Previously we told you Ryan's on Bobby Jones Expressway in Martinez scored a 76. This week, on re-inspection they received a 93.
Happy China on Columbia Road in Martinez scored a 67. This also received a 93 on re-inspection.
Last week we told you Curry Pot on Pine Log Road in Aiken scored an 80.
They were re-inspected, but received the same score, an 80.
Shoney's on Whiskey Road in Aiken had an 86 last week, and scored a 98 on re-inspection.
Now we go to the highest scores of the week which are all 100s.
Those perfect scores are Subway, BBQ Barn and Buck Head Cafe on Atomic Road in Aiken.
We also have Papa John's Pizza on University Parkway in Aiken coming in with a 100.
Now our lowest scores of the week:
Philly Cheesesteak Factory on Peach Orchard Road in Augusta scored a 78.
Inspectors found food kept at improper temperatures, food not dated and food not properly separated.
Inspectors gave Kobe Japanese Steak and Seafood on East Pine Log Road in Aiken a 78.
Points were taken off for raw meat stored over ready to eat food, raw food not separated from ready to eat food and raw meats not separated from other raw meats.
Ms. Carolyn's on Windsor Spring Road in Augusta rolls in with an 83.
Some of their violations were out of date milk, food not properly stored and employees not wearing hair restraints.
We'd like you to keep in mind that each score is based on the day health inspectors visited that particular restaurant.
This week's scores are for May 4 - 8.
