EVANS, Ga. – In this week’s Restaurant Report Card we have three perfect scores and showcase Chili’s Restaurant in Evans. Chili's has ten menu items all for under $7 each.

We kick things off with the lowest scores of the week.

Waffle House at 491 Lewiston Road in Grovetown scored a 73. Inspectors found mold in the ice machine, employees not washing hands properly and several plates and utensils still had food on them after washing.

It's an 83 for Teresa's Mexican Restaurant at 1935 Whiskey Road in Aiken. Points were taken off for rat droppings found in the storage room food not being reheated properly, and their steam table was used to reheat the wrong types of food.

Plate O Pasta comes in with an 86. This is a follow-up inspection but their new grade still puts them in the bottom three. Reports show no certified food safety manager on duty, utensils not properly stored and food not properly separated and protected.

We have three perfect scores this week, all out of Aiken County.

Waffle House at 1117 West Martintown Road in North Augusta, Ta Queria Y Tienda La Mexicana on York Street in Aiken and Ferrando's Italian Pizzeria in Aiken.

Keep in mind that each restaurant is scored on the day that health inspector went to the restaurant.

This week's scores are for May 18-22.

all resturants that score 90 or lower should be shut down right away til clean. Then this places will do their job. Check out macdonalds after closing or right at opening. Nasty. Check out the bathrooms too. What happen to cleaning them every hour, HELLO. GERMS!! Also watch who doesn't wash their hands after using the bathroom. Watch their hands touching the hair, face and nose. These mostly are the counter people. Food people wear gloves, that is most of them.

Uh, the Waffle House that got the low score may have a Grovetown mailing address, but it is located outside the city limits next to the truck stop/gas station at I-20 !! This looks like it is giving Grovetown a bad rep !!
