AUGUSTA, Ga. – This week’s Restaurant Report Card includes four high scores and showcases The Public House on Highland Avenue, located in Surrey Center in Augusta.

Starting with our lowest scores of the week, Osaka Sushi on Washington Road in Evans comes in with a 62 for raw food not cooked to proper temperatures, bug spray stored next to bags of rice and squid in the refrigerator had no preparation date.

It's a 69 for Pablano's on North Belair Road in Evans.

Some of their violations were raw items stored over ready to eat food, mold found in the fountain drink nozzles and food wasn't properly covered.

Finally, inspectors gave Goldtown Chinese on Wrightsboro Road in Grovetown a 74. This is also a follow-up inspection.

Points were taken off for mold in the ice machine, fish wasn't properly thawed and flies were found inside the restaurant.

Moving on to our highest scores of the week…

In Richmond County, New Chan Express on Deans Bridge Road and Friday’s on Washington Road scored 99's.

Harvest Table on Gordon Highway in Augusta and Mot's Pit Cooked Barbecue on Columbia Road in Martinez both received 98's.

Aiken County wasn't part of this week's Restaurant Report Card.

Keep in mind each score is based on the day the health inspector went to that particular restaurant.

This week’s scores are for July 27-31.
