AUGUSTA, Ga. - This week’s Restaurant Report Card showcases Rooster’s Beak at 215 10th Street in downtown Augusta and a follow-up inspection.

In our August 6 report, we told you Osaka Sushi on Washington Road in Evans scored a 62.

This week they come in with a 94.

Moving on to the highest scores of the week:

In Aiken County, both Prime Steakhouse on Richland Avenue in Aiken and Little Mexico on Edgefield Road in North Augusta had perfect scores.

In Columbia County inspectors gave Pablano's on North Belair Road in Evans a 96.

Now the lowest scores of the week:

In Richmond County, Waffle House at 3411 Mike Padgett Highway in Augusta received a 76.

Points deducted for food not properly separated, food kept at improper temperatures and mold growing in the ice machine.

It's an 83 for China Express II on Peach Orchard Road in Augusta.

Inspectors found raw chicken stored next to cooked rice, food uncovered in freezers and coolers and the back door was open with no screen.

Our final low score is out of Columbia County.

Wife Saver at North Belair Road in Martinez rolls in with an 84.

Points were taken off for raw meat stored above ready to eat food, no adequate hand washing facilities and ceiling tiles needed to be replaced.

Keep in mind that each score is based on the day the health inspector visited that restaurant.

This week's scores are for August 10 through the 14.
