EVANS, Ga. - This week’s Restaurant Report Card includes one perfect score and showcases Fatz Café at 464 N Belair Rd in Evans.

A customer complaint led to a health inspection for King Buffet on Gordon Highway in Augusta.

The restaurant received a failing score of 67.

Inspectors found dishes not properly washed, rice warmers rusty and moldy and the walk-in cooler kept at improper temperatures.

Hardee's on Washington Road in Evans comes in with a 77.

Points were deducted for employee drinks without lids, sanitizer buckets stored near bread and floors needed cleaning.

Finally, health inspectors gave Chef Redd's on Wrightsboro Road in Augusta an 82.

Some of their violations; cutting boards not easily cleanable, the thermometer was broken inside the cooler and the ice bin seals were dirty.

Moving on to the highest scores of the week; Kobe Japanese Steakhouse on East Pine Log Road in Aiken comes in with a perfect score of 100.

It's a 98 for Checkers on Deans Bridge Road in Augusta and both Sho Chin's on Washington Road in Evans and Wendy's on Whiskey Road in Aiken scored 97s.

Keep in mind each score is based on the day the health inspector went to that particular restaurant.

This week's scores are for September 21 - 25.
