My name is Jessica Baumgardner. I am 21 years old and I live in North Augusta, SC. I am a 2006 graduate of North Augusta High School and I am currently a senior at the University of South Carolina Aiken.

I will be graduating in December with a degree in Early Childhood Education. After graduating, I plan on moving to the coast and becoming a kindergarten teacher.

I have two older brothers and my parents are Janet and Jeff Baumgardner.

I have been in pageants before, but the Miss RiverBlast pageant was the first pageant I had done in a year and a half. I was interested in participating in this pageant because it is directed by NBC Augusta 26 and I knew it would give me great exposure and opportunities for amazing experiences.

I was also drawn towards doing this pageant because it had fair judging and focused not only on beauty, but also personality. I have already met great people and enjoyed doing several appearances. I look forward to the rest of my year as your first ever Miss RiverBlast!
