Hi my name is Elizabeth Towles. I'm 17 years old and a rising senior at North Augusta High School. I'm very excited to start my senior year, graduate and move on to the real world!

After high school I plan to attend Augusta State University for at least a year to work on my core courses and get the feel for the college experience. I hope to transfer in my sophomore or junior year to the College of Charleston to major in Biology and minor in Mathematics.

I have one older brother that is a rising sophomore at the College of Charleston and is double-majoring in physics and astro-physics. Both he and my mother have given me the drive to attend the College of Charleston, as my mom is an alumni as well. After college I plan to attend graduate school and obtain a master’s in biology and one day work in marine biology and explore the world’s oceans as I travel around the world.

I'm so excited about being the first Miss Teen RiverBlast and I'm looking forward to a fantastic year of appearances, meeting new people and lots of new experiences. I first decided to do the Miss RiverBlast pageant because I'm a native of the CSRA and I thought it would be a lot of fun working with NBC Augusta 26 and volunteering in the community and serving as a spokesmodel.

Plus, I knew it would also be a chance to meet girls that I might not know in the community as well, and you can never have too many friends!
