Let's see,in the early 90's we beat Irac to liberate some Arabic country in Desert Storm, then we beat Irac again in early 21st century. We own Irac and their oil plus a war debt from Quway(?), yet we still pay what OPEC wants! What is wrong with this picture?

I saw gas prices go from $3.99 a gallon on Monday to $3.36 a gallon as of this morning. I got gas one day it was $3.69 and when I came back thru an hour and a half later it was $3.59. That tells me that they pretty much can charge what they want to charge. I'm sure gas prices do not go down several times a day for them. It's all a game to see how much money they can make.

It was a small fire. one owner of the gas line (who by the way owns 30 gas stations was only sending out a small amount on his trucks so there would be some gas while the other dude was restricted from the line. now that most is getting back to normal, lets lower the prices some more. we should be paying 2.74 a gallon with as low as the barrels are. Then maybe stores and elec. comp. will lower thier stuff and we can afford to live again without having to decide gas , groceries or bills.

This is what you get for voting oil company millionaires into the Presidency and the Vice-Presidency! As for Dems blocking drilling--not enough in the Arctic to power us for even 6 months! Suck it up, Republican whiners--I've harvested a big garden and repaired my bike because I saw this coming.

Everything that is going on now is crazy, Stop Blaming yourself, The people who are in office now took that job because they said they can Handle it, They took that job because they feel they can change something and make it better, the people on here saying don't buy this and don't get this stay in the house, That's not fair at all to us, we work every day and can't take yourself or family out because they are not doing their job they signed up for. There hasn't been any coverage about gas shortages in other states. I live in FL and only found out through a friend that lives in Martinez, that there wasn't any gas. I also know that we're not the only ones suffering. My family in Germany pays the equivalent of TWICE the price for a gallon of gas.......I guess it could still get worse. And you know that the US is being laughed at by all the countries sitting on the oil. They're just waiting to kick us again while we're already down.........

At 8pm Thursday, Sep. 25th I watched in amazement approximately 50 cars in line at the Kroger Gas station on Wash. Rd in Evans. It alsways brings a site like this one to remind you just how bad a situation has gotten. Where are the reports on the news about this "NO GAS?"

Here in CO, we have no idea that there was a gas shortage in other parts of the USA, media is not covering this at all, they are more concerned about the bailout and what is the latest fashion trend of Palin, pretty sad if you tell me. I had to do a search on "no gas in South Carolina" in order to find a local paper in SC talking about it.

Just remember who has blocked the construction of new refineries, who has blocked drilling, who has done everything possible to block increased energy sources. Yeah, I'm voting Democrat! I love being miserable and they seem to be able to insure misery with their "do goodin ways". We can't drill, we can't build, we can't do anything that might harm the snail darter or spotted owl. Get Pelosi and that bunch out of Washington.

I watched gas prices jump from $3.49 to $4.69 at one station over night with no delivery. But the "sheep to the slaughter" never slowed. What will it take to stop the complaining as your are filling your tanks and revolt. When is enough going to be enough? $8 a gal. $10 a gal. $20...?? If all your income went in your gas tank and everyday bills, which increase as gas increases, and no food on your table, would that get your attention? They do it because we let them by buying their products.

U.S. domestic production peaked back in 1970-71 at around 10 mil. barrels/day and has declined since to about 6-7 mil. barrels/day. We import over 60% of our oil, most of which comes from the Middle East. Get use to high gas prices. Alot of world events and even natural disasters impact the flow of oil to the U.S. Not to mention the global depletion of oil in the years to come.

I am working in Iraq, and will continue to do so while the prices of gas, food and lodging in the U.S. continues to rise. I am distraught at our Governments greedy underhanded way of doing business. The rich will continue to get richer as long as our government continues to be run in this manner. It doesn't matter who is President, it will not change a thing. Big business runs our country and it's leaders... When gas prices do finally drop, everything else will stay high priced. Fact of Life.

Get over it. This has been an issue for a few years now. Complaining about it will not make it any better. If you think this is bad now, wait five years down the road. This is our fault that we use more oil/gas than any other country in the world. We simply take everything for granted. All you can do now is conserve every way possible. Use double coupons if needed. Many people would not be in financial difficulty if more people went to college, then pursued a high paying career job. True facts!!

Ironically, when the stimulus checks were issued the gas went soaring, so TELL US again what was the reason for issuing the stimulus check? Was it so we could give it back through the purchasing of gas because the way I see it that is what is happening! I live in Florida and the gas prices are $3.79 a gallon, I am from SC and want to go home this summer to see my family, but won't be able to because we won't be able to afford it! Why are the rich getting richer and the poor homeless! NOT RIGHT!!
