Postage Rates Going Up Again
Get ready for another postal rate increase. Come May 12th, a first class stamp will go up a penny to 42 cents. It was just last May when a stamp went up from 39 to 41 cents. Other postage services such as money orders, certfified mail and sending post cards will go up too. Under new law, postage rates can be adjusted every May. I WOULD NOT MIND PAYING MORE FOR POSTAGE IF THE POSTAL SERVICE ACTUALLY GAVE GOOD SERVICE/DELIVERY AND HAD POLITE EMPLOYEES. MY POSTAL CARRIER IS CONSTANTLY RUNNING BEHIND. I USE TO GET MY MAIL BY 3 PM EACH DAY, BUT NOW I AM LUCKY TO SEE IT BY 6 PM. IF THEY CAN'T KEEP UP WITH DELIVERY THEY SHOULD HIRE MORE PEOPLE WHO CAN DO THE JOB CORRECTLY. Inappropriate? Alert Us!
