Airlines Are Saving More By Slowing Down
Just as in driving, slower flying means less fuel burned... and airlines are doing just that. The rising cost of jet-a fuel is causing carriers to find ways to cut costs. Other airlines are adding flight planning software that will give them more efficient routes, and are requesting altitudes that reduce fuel-eating headwinds that slow flights down. |
