GIBSON, Ga. - A town hall meeting was held in Gibson, Ga., Sunday to discuss the FDIC’s seizure of yet another Georgia bank.
FirstCity Bank, which is the only bank in the city of Gibson was shut down by the government on Friday, leaving customers unable to access their money.
The FDIC then took control of the banks funds. They will mail out checks to customers to cover their accounts under the $250,000 FDIC insurance maximum.
