GROVETOWN, Ga. - Grovetown City Council members approved a millage rate increase in a 3-1 vote Monday.
City Manager Shirley Beasley says officials proposed the increase from 5.64 to 7 mills.
Beasley says added tax revenues will be used to improve public safety, the new fire station and other city services.
