AUGUSTA, Ga. - In less than a week, you'll have a new place to grab something to eat in Augusta.

On Monday, the new Cheddar's restaurant on Walton Way Extension near Wheeler Road will open. Cheddar's serves American food and has a bar. The restaurant has 150 employees who spent the day
training for the big opening.

The restaurant can hold more than 300 people. The doors open Monday morning at 11 a.m.

The new Walmart is now open in Grovetown. The store manager says it's one of the few Walmart's that's "female friendly." The aisles are set up with beauty products and the pharmacy closer to the food products.

Also, a new hotel officially opened its doors Wednesday.

The Fairfield Inn and Suites on Gordon Highway has more than 80 rooms.
