Attempted robbery at the KFC in Aiken

Emergency workers tell NBC Augusta two men walked into the KFC on Pine Log Road in Aiken, armed with a shot gun and demanded money.

Investigators are now searching for the suspects who got away.

Let's not confuse the unemployed and the criminal. These people are criminals. There are plenty of unemployed people who do not resort to criminal activity, and it's ignorant to think that they go hand in hand. It's about making decisions and knowing right from wrong. Let's not give criminals the excuse that because they don't have a job, it's ok to break the law to get money. YOU wake up and smell the coffee.

It is amazing. Everyday we see massive lay offs and people say, "Thank goodness it wasn't me." But we all ned to realize, it still affects all of us. When some lose their jobs and are unable to support their families in a legal way; they then resort to illegal means to get money. This is happening more and more around the country. When will we wake up and smell the coffee? We need more jobs around here. If there were jobs people would have less time to resort to these types of activities.
