Hephzibah baby dies after being left in car; Mother facing murder charge

A six-week-old baby boy died Thursday night. His mother is accused of leaving him in the back seat of a car with the windows up for about an hour on Thursday around lunchtime outside her home.

Lisa Morris, 25 of Patrick Avenue, Hephzibah, is facing a charge of felony murder.

Deputies say Morris claims she forgot the child was in the car.

I know this girl fairly well and she wouldn't do this on purpose, although I don't understand how she forgot. She had a child already and was a good mother-she wouldn't do this on a normal basis... i don't understand
