Crime Alert: Aiken County convenience store robbed

Beech Island, S.C. - Aiken County investigators are looking for two men who robbed a convenience store in Beech Island.

It happened at the Kool Spot on Highway 278 near Silver Bluff Road and Greenpond Road Friday morning.

Deputies say one of the men fired a round from his pistol and then ran into the woods.

Authorities believe the two men eventually met up and got away in a vehicle.
