Wife of slain North Augusta man speaks out on anniversary of his death

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - This weekend marks the three year anniversary of a deadly shooting in North Augusta.

In November of 2005 a gunman shot three people.
near the Huddle House on Highway 25. William Powell of North Augusta died in that shooting.

Investigators never caught the gunman. Sunday Powell's widow told NBC Augusta it's not too late to solve the case.

"There's terror in the hearts of a lot of people. People I know and this will bring closure for sure for them and closure for us," said Mary Alice Powell.

Investigators say the case is still open. They've gotten several tips this year, but say the case is still cold.
