Augusta's first deadly shooting of 2009

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Richmond County investigators have released the name of the man wanted in connection with this year's first murder. They're looking 19-year-old Mychael Orlander Faulks.

He's wanted on charges of murder and possession of a firearm during a crime

The deadly shooting happened around 10:20 Sunday night at the River Glen Apartments on East Telfair Street.

Authorities found 22-year-old Jamar Wright shot at least one time. He was taken to MCGHealth where he was pronounced dead.

Anyone with information about Faulks' whereabouts is asked to call the Richmond County Sheriff's Office at 706-821-1080.
