JACKSON, S.C. - A third suspect is now in custody for robbing the First Citizens Bank & Trust on Atomic Road.

Officers say three men robbed the bank around 12:15 Wednesday afternoon.

The Aiken County Coroner says suspect Jelani Edwards died following a shootout with investigators near the Kimberly Clark plant. Another man was arrested shortly after the robbery happened.

What a pity! Shoot the suspect and maybe others may stop and think before committing crimes.

Bloodhound must be an old-timer too. I remember armed guards in banks, and in a few stores years ago. Why don't they have bank guards in the CSRA? We definitely have a need for them here!

The stupidity continues. Robbing a bank will get you very little money and a lot of time in prison. Any you will be caught. If not shot. A lot safer working for a living.

Thank God two are in custody. It won't be long before the third is nabbed. When I was young they used to have armed guards in banks and grocery stores who weren't afraid to set you straight. America wake up the CHANGE is making people do stupid things.
