Third home invasion in two days reported in Aiken County

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. - The Aiken County Sheriff's Office is investigating the third home invasion in the county in two days.

Two men broke into a home early this morning on Lee Drive in the Burnettown area.

No one was hurt.

Thieves also broke into homes on Bradby Lane in Aiken and Audubon Circle in North Augusta early Thursday.

Investigators say they do not know whether the crimes are connected.

They tell 26 News they are putting extra emphasis on their property patrols.
