AUGUSTA, Ga. The last day of advance voting in Richmond and Columbia Counties was Tuesday.

Poll workers say they had a steady turnout of people casting their votes in the runoff for U.S. Senate.

They say the race between Incumbent Republican Saxby Chambliss and Democrat Jim Martin is bringing a lot of new voters to the polls also some of the same faces as before.

Election day for the senate runoff is Tuesday.
