Ken & Drew From Sister Hazel Rock Columbia County!
Ken Block and Drew Copeland of the band Sister Hazel rocked the Columbia County Amphitheater on Sunday, April 6th, as headliners of the second concert in the Music Evolution Series. Sister Hazel’s hit songs include late 1990s hits “All for You” and “Champagne High.” Ken Block is the band’s lead vocalist. He writes songs and plays guitar along with Copeland, a fellow vocalist and expert harmonizer. The duo had fun with the crowd, telling jokes and poking fun at one another in between songs. Local musicians Jim Perkins and Jayson Sabo opened the show, followed by Doug Jones former lead singer of the South Carolina –based band Cravin’ Melon. “Nashville Star” winner and RCA recording artist Chris Young also performed in the acoustic show, showing off the vocal talents that have made him a crowd favorite at the Grand Ole Opry in his more than twenty appearances there. The Music Evolution Series will continue on April 27th with Luke Bryan and Lady Antebellum plus special guest 17 South. The May 25 show will bring The Gin Blossoms, a group whose chart-topping singles include “Hey Jealousy” and “Til I Hear it from You.” For more information on the series, please visit www.ForTheFansEntertainment.com |
