NBC NEWS- First lady Laura Bush made history Tuesday appearing as a guest host on NBC's "Today" show. She did the opening introduction of the show before the announcer introduced her as a guest host. Bush joined Lauer, newsreader Ann Curry and weatherman Al Roker on the "Today" show set in New York. The first lady was also joined by her daughter, bride-to-be Jenna Bush, to take a look at their new children's book "Read All About It." Jenna and sister Barbara Bush also discussed what it was like to grow up as a twin. Laura Bush learned the ins and outs of hosting a morning show and participated in several segments and interviews. |
