The July 27th Music Evolution Series performance brought the HD 98.3 Summer Bash to the Columbia County Amphitheater.

The opening act was Everything After, a band which features vocals from local artist Dana Andrews. The singer gained widespread notoriety after performing on the nationally televised series "Rockstar: SuperNova."

Former "American Idol" contestant Ace Young performed songs from his recently released debut album. The pop artist's music includes "You Redeem Me," a song written specifically for him by legendary music writer Diane Warren. A faster tune from the album, "Addicted," is also a fan favorite.

Young helped write Daughtry's hit song "It's Not Over," with former "American Idol" hopeful Chris Daughtry.

Headlining the show was Ohio-based band Saving Jane. The band, who are currently enjoying popular success with their song "Supergirl," features Marti Dodson on vocals along with Patrick Buzzard, Dak Goodman, Brandon Hagan, and Jeremy Martin.

Perhaps best know for their 2005 release, "Girl Next Door," Saving Jane also recently had their song "Imperfection" featured on WE TV's series "High School Confidential."
