Big crowds attend Arts in the Heart festival

By Steve Kuzj skuzj@nbcaugusta.com

Thousands attended this year's Arts in the Heart festival over the weekend.

The three-day event wrapped up Sunday night in downtown Augusta.

The festival featured artwork and entertainment from various countries around the world.

Vistors like Mark Pugh also praised the variety of food the event offered. “We love it! This is our third year. We love every minute of it. We were here yesterday so we’re back again today enjoying the food. It’s always good to get fresh cooked Jamaican Cuisine," Pugh said.

More than 70 artists and local vendors sold their work at this year's event.
