EAST DUBLIN, Ga. (AP) - Don't worry, Bubba. The armpit serenades
and mudpit belly flop will go on.

The official Summer Redneck Games in East Dublin were in danger of being canceled after sponsor WQZY radio pulled support because of an ongoing legal battle with the family of a boy who lost his arm during last year's event. But the East Dublin Lions Club is going ahead with the now famous Games on July 11.

Lions Club President Freddie Baugus said the event raises up to
$15,000 annually for local charities with more than 10,000 people in attendance and media coverage from across the globe.

WQZY started the Games in 1996 in conjunction with the Summer
Olympics in Atlanta. Events include the cigarette flip, the big hair contest, the hubcap hurl and the Dumpster diving contest.
