TV pitchman Billy Mays found dead at home

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - An autopsy is planned to determine what caused the death of TV pitchman Billy Mays at age 50.

His wife found him unresponsive this morning in his Florida home.

Deborah Mays told investigators her husband wasn't feeling well
Saturday night.

Earlier, Mays was talking to the media about being aboard a U.S.
Airways flight that made a rough landing Saturday at Tampa International Airport.

He told Tampa Bay's Fox television affiliate that ``all the things from the ceiling started dropping.'' He said he was hit on the head, but joked that he had ``a hard head.''

The coroner's office expects to have an autopsy done by Monday afternoon.

Police say there were no signs of a break-in or foul play.

Mays became a pop-culture icon by hawking products from OxiClean
and Orange Glo to Mighty Putty. He was featured on the reality TV
show ``Pitchmen'' on the Discovery Channel.

This goes to show that death can happen ANYTIME. He was just on The Tonight Show with Conan O' Brien June 23. The episode can be seen on NBC.com. Also, he did an interview hours before his death about his plane landing. He even tweeted about it on his twitter: twitter.com/realbillymays . He came to his Tampa home after filming a new Oxyclean commercial in Philadelphia, I believe. He also had a show called "Pitchmen." Every episode can be seen on YouTube.com. He'll be missed a lot by everyone!
