Bond has been set for a former Richmond County deputy charged with child molestation.
A judge granted Lindon Haworth a $75,000 bond Thursday.
Haworth was still in jail Thursday night when NBC Augusta checked with the Augusta-Richmond County Detention Center.
Deputies arrested Haworth on Tuesday after a yearlong investigation.
He's accused of kissing his 14-year-old neighbor on the mouth while they were watching a movie at his home.
He had been suspended without pay since the investigation began.
Haworth was fired on Wednesday.
Haworth is an Iraq war veteran and had received several honors, including the Purple Heart.
