By NBCAugusta Producers

Georgia's Insurance and Fire Commission is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the fire that burned down a Swainsboro police officer's home.

NBC has learned Officer Robert Phillips' house on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Emanuel County was destroyed.

Officers say it happened June 16 and they are treating the fire as an arson investigation.

Call Swainsboro Police Department at (478) 237-8967 or the Georgia Arson Control Hotline at (800) 282-5804 if you have any information.
