Puppy euthanized after being beaten, man arrested

DECATUR, Ga. (AP) - A man is facing a felony charge after DeKalb
County police say he beat his roommate's puppy so badly it had to
be euthanized.

Investigators think 58-year-old Lawrence Peterson beat the puppy
with a broken table leg because it wouldn't stop barking.

Peterson has been charged with a felony count of animal cruelty.

Police say the pit bull mixed-breed puppy was estimated to be
six to eight weeks old and was euthanized after suffering head
trauma Saturday.

Let's beat him with a table leg and let him see how if feels. If someone will abuse an animal, just think about what that person is capable of doing to another human being. SHAMEFUL !!

IT SICKENS ME THE HORRIBLE THINGS SOME PEOPLE DO TO ANIMALS. WE NEED TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GIVE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE TO OUR PETS, THEY GIVE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE TO US DAILY. THIS MAN NEEDS TO ASK FOR FORGIVENESS THIS IS A SIN IN ANYONES EYES.

Of course people like this will only get a slap on the wrist. Personally they should do the same thing to him that he did to that poor puppy. What is wrong with this world today
