Columbus girl kidnapped from bedroom, raped

COLUMBUS, Ga. (AP) - Police are investigating the abduction and
rape of an 11-year-old girl.

Authorities say a man broke into a Columbus home through a
living room window early Wednesday morning and kidnapped the girl
at gunpoint. Police say he took the girl to another location and
sexually assaulted her.

The girl was taken to Medical Center Hospital for treatment.

No suspect has been arrested.
