An Augusta church helped make back to school fun for dozens of local kids.

National Hills Baptist Church held a back to school bash Saturday. The church handed out school supplies and offered lots of fun for the kids.

They had a rock climbing wall, dunk tank, and face painting.

“Our desire is to show commitment we want to be here for them and minister to them as a whole family to let them know about the good news of Christ, but also to teach them when they need us, we’re here for them, and to give a safe environment for them to come together,” said the churches pastor, Kevin Steele.

All the treats at the festival were absolutely free.
