Deadly wreck kills 2, leaves 3 injured

By NBCAugusta Producers

DECATUR, Ga. (AP) - A one-car accident in DeKalb County left two
dead, including a 17-year-old boy.
Three other teens, ages 17, 18 and 19, suffered serious injuries
in Sunday's crash on River Road near Cedar Grove High School. The
driver, a 27-year-old Decatur man, also died at the scene.
Police withheld their names because relatives had not been
notified.
Investigators said excessive speed seems to have been a factor.
The vehicle overturned in a curve and crashed into a telephone
pole.
