4-legged thief nabbed in federal court building

ATLANTA (AP) - In this case the perp was a real animal. Someone or something was stealing from the offices of a federal bankruptcy judge in Atlanta.

The evidence left behind included a half-eaten apple and paw prints. Turns out a raccoon was living in the ceiling above the judge's offices. One court clerk even made a "wanted'' poster with a raccoon's picture on it. Tuna proved to be a little too tempting.

The critter was caught with a trap baited with tuna fish. The manager of the Atlanta Federal Building says the animal will be set free a long, long way from downtown.
