Gilbert Manor near empty

By Tina Terry tterry@nbcaugusta.com

It will be about two weeks before Gilbert Manor is completely empty.

The director of Augusta's Housing Authority told NBC Augusta five families remain.

He says four should move out this weekend and the final family should move the following weekend.

Recently the Board of Regents approved a deal to buy the Gilbert Manor property so MCG can expand its medical and dental schools.
