Deputies find 400 pounds of marijuana in van during traffic stop

LILBURN, Ga. (AP) - Gwinnett County sheriff's deputies
discovered 400 pounds of marijuana concealed in a van during a
traffic stop.

Deputies discovered 17 bundles of the illegal drugs stashed in
the cargo area after the driver was pulled over for a traffic
violation on U.S. Highway 29 Tuesday afternoon.

28-year-old Jorge Gonzalez-Vasquez of Lilburn was arrested.
He was charged with trafficking marijuana.

Authorities said the marijuana had an estimated street value of
$1.8 million.
