Great weather led to a big First Friday crowd, but follow the music and find the fun at the Common.

"I think it's wonderful, its nice entertainment for Augusta, we need something like this," said Eleanor Eagle.

The music celebrated the end of summer and the Common's Sixth anniversary.

Six years that've seen a lot of people let loose and a lot of celebrities take center stage.

"Santa always comes to Augusta, Augusta rocks, baby," said Santa Art Usher.

Santa says he finds the Common very nice. "Santa likes it, you have plenty of room."

And folks can't seem to fathom Augusta without it.

"Its something new and something Augusta needs," said Eagle.

"Santa's having a very good time," Santa said. "Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas early, Augusta."
